Major festival returning to San Diego

A multi-day extravaganza of food, fun, fine wine, and spirits is on the way to San Diego.

The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival comprises dozens of different events such as wine and food tastings. The festival will see participation by hundreds of wineries from around the world and the local area, craft brewers, local legends in the culinary field, and nationally known chefs. The outdoor event takes place around the Port of San Diego and San Diego Bay. Individual venues are still being organized.

People will be able to discover new wines at the Grand Descant, scheduled for the first day of the festival. A new event, the Grand Fiesta, will celebrate some of the best winemakers and chefs from Mexico, as attendees enjoy tasty treats at stations curated by some of the finest chefs from Baja, Southern California, and beyond. Music at the Grand Fiesta will be provided by Bulevar Descarga.

Another highly anticipated event is the Taco TKO, the festival’s signature battle, to determine the best taco in the city.

The festival is five days in length, beginning November 9 and winding up November 13, the date of the Grand Fiesta, which will be held at Liberty Station Ingram Plaza. The Grand Tasting is set for November 12 at Embarcadero Marina Park North. Multiple ticket packages are available. When events like these, with multiple participants, are scheduled, organizers can use flyer printing to create maps and lists of vendors for attendees.
