Pregnant people and partners have an event just for them coming up in San Diego.
Jeanette Hardman has organized BabyCon, an event where expectant parents can connect with people who can help them. The event will include panels led by doctors who will discuss baby care, the process of giving birth, and pregnancy in general. There will be baby gear available, including hand-made items, as well as items from local stores Demonstrations of how to perform CPR on infants are scheduled, as are demonstrations of how to safely use car seats. Baby Shower Games are also on the schedule.
There are standard and VIP tickets available. Standard tickets include access to community areas designed especially for New Parents; events scheduled to take place on the main stage; access to vendors; baby games; safe baby demonstrations; and prizes.
Those who purchase VIP tickets will have access to all the activities at the general admission level, plus a Swag Bag from the event, a special VIP area set up in the Vendor and Event Hall; and exclusive access to pediatric and maternity doctors, who will conduct breakout panel discussions. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create schedules for attendees.
BabyCon will be held at the San Diego Convention Center on September 11, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm. Children 11 and younger will be admitted free in the company of a ticketed adult; children 12 and older need a ticket of their own.
