Village Art Faire planned for San Clemente

The Village Art Faire will take place at San Clemente in May. The event gives entrants a chance to purchase arts and crafts from local vendors.

The fair is held on the first Saturday of each month. The event was started decades ago to promote the work of local artists and artisans. Since then, it has grown in popularity, attracting vendors from across South California. All sellers are selected by a jury, and everything sold is required to be handmade. Guests can expect a mix of fine art, photography, jewelry, ceramics, home décor, and more to be sold.

Anyone interested in being a vendor can also send an application to the organizers. Each seller is allocated a 10-by-10 space for their booth. Booths will also have 15 feet of space between one another to maintain physical distancing. Vendors will also need to sign waivers and liability Forms and make a $75 payment for the rental space. Printing services can be used to help produce and sign the required documents.

The event will take place on May 1 between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The fair has moved locations and is now found at the Community Center and Library parking lot on 242 Avenida Del Mar. Anyone with more questions can contact Alison Richards at info@scvillageartfaire.org or call (949) 395-7008.
