The San Clemente Library is hosting a free lesson about classical music in March.
Classical on Classical, part of the San Clemente Family Program, is hosted by Storybook Family Playhouse. Open to children ages 5 and up, the program runs the gamut of various classical music topics, from singing to conquering instruments, and everything in between.
Whether the area of interest is learning how to play, conduct, or just gaining a wider knowledge of classical music, the class offers listening samples of pieces of vocal music as well as in-person examinations of special orchestra instruments. Free to attend, the class requires no prior registration.
Storybook Family Playhouse’s mission is to offer children the chance to get into the theater arts, from learning instruments to participating in musical theater.
The San Clemente Library venue is chock full of other family-friendly activities, as well, including various book clubs, and is open Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday through Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Music events like this may choose to use Print shops to create sheet music, audience programs, and promotional material.
The San Clemente Family Program: Classical on Classical is happening on Thursday, March 12 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Orange County Library - San Clemente Branch at 242 Avenida Del Mar in San Clemente.
