Holiday festival coming to San Clemente
San Clemente’s Old Town shopping center is hosting a Christmas Festival this December.
The yearly market that celebrates the holidays includes festival activities, local makers, live music, handmade gift-sellers, artisan booths, and more.
There will also be photo opportunities with Santa Claus, games with prizes, beverages and confectionery treats, and an ugly sweater competition, the latter of which involves a grand prize of a $50 Old Town gift card.
People are encouraged to bring their family and friends to the festival. Aimed as a way of helping to support small businesses, the holiday festival includes the opportunity to buy handmade gifts and dine on holiday food created by local cafes and restaurants.
Vendors include Daily Bread Co., offering sourdough; Thistle and Scone, selling local honey; Tnt Designs Jewels, selling handmade goods; Vedders Nice Cream and Sandwiches; Fox Clothing, selling handmade clothes; Alohana Acai Bowls and Coffee; and Nelson Fresh Bouquets and Plants. Margaret Klemm will also be performing the harp during the event.
