Soon, everyone in San Clemente will have a chance to welcome spring with the annual ‘Sensational Springtacular’ – a day for all local people to enjoy the outdoors, some activities, and an egg hunt.
The San Clemente’s Kiwanis Club will start things off with a pancake breakfast. Alice and the Mad Hatter will be having tea at their table and a posse of other entertainers will be milling through the crowd.
The grounds will be dotted with decorations. Tots can hop around in a bounce house, play games, and greet the Easter Bunny. Children from preschool age through 10 years old can enter the free egg hunt. This year, the hunt will be divided into categories by age and assigned at times throughout the morning. The swim, the ‘Splashtacular’, will begin after the last hunt. The day should prove a good one for later postcard printing.
All the fun is scheduled for April 4, from 7:30 am – 11:30 am, at Vista Hermosa Sports Park, 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa, San Clemente. The Pancake Breakfast will begin at 7:30 am, before activities and Easter Bunny visits commence at 9:00 am.
Children aged two years and younger will have their own egg hunt starting at 10:00 am. Also at 10 will be the egg hunt for the 5-7 year olds. At 10:45, the three-to-four year olds and the eight-to-ten year olds will get their turn.
