San Clementes own to give free concerts

Local friends Gary Roach and John Burton teamed up a few years ago to form a Rolling Stones cover band they now call Gary Roach’s Stones Review. Over the next few weeks, the band will be presenting two concerts here in town free of charge.

Since its inception back in 2015 when the band, known as Jumping Jack Flash, changed from a Rolling Stones tribute band into a band covering a wider range of rock-and-roll, it has been entertaining crowds around California.

This month, the guys will perform at a beach party and concert as the finale to the first night of the 2016 San Clemente Ocean Festival.

Next month, the duo will be performing at the San Clemente Beach Concerts Summer Series. It will be one of the concerts that will be part of the city’s ‘Bringing the Bands to the Sand’.

Fans will want to check with the band to see if it has any Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, Drinkware, or promotional Pens to give away.

The 2016 San Clemente Ocean Festival gig will take place on Saturday, July 16, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on the beach at the San Clemente Pier.

The Summer Concert Series show will be at Linda Lane Park, 400 Linda Lane here in San Clemente. That performance will be Thursday, August 11 and will start at 6:00 pm.
