A great weekend adventure awaits San Clemente art enthusiasts later this month.
Residents can take a leisurely drive through San Clemente, Dana Point ,and Laguna Beach, stopping at the homes and studios of 12 of Orange County’s finest artists along the way. The free 1st annual Art Studio Tour will offer a chance to see and purchase work not yet presented to the public.
Guests can experience the workspace and homes of painters Paul Bond and Susan Jarecky, who work in oils. Other art Forms that will be included are watercolors, acrylics, sculpting, glasswork and mixed media. Photographers Nancy Holly and Gary Zuercher, as well as jewelry-designer Lance Heck, will also be opening their homes for viewing. The tour should offer an excellent opportunity for the exchange of digital Business Cards with artists and others on the tour.
Upon completion of the tour, guests will have an opportunity to participate in a drawing, with prizes that include works by some of the artists on the tour, tickets to a Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters performance, or participation in a Carolyn Machado Workshop.
