San Clemente is getting ready for its annual San Clemente Fiesta Music Festival next month.
No fewer than 16 bands will be performing on three stages. Between the music performances there will be contests such as hula hooping, pie eating, ice cream eating (for children 12 and under), and a tortilla toss. There will also be jump roping and bubble gum blowing contests.
An Easter egg hunt and a diaper derby will take place in the park. Other activities there will be a motorcycle show, the Salsa Challenge, and the Fiesta Action Sports & Beach Lifestyle Expo.
A exposition will exhibit some of the business members of the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce. Members will be distributing Flyers, explaining their goods and services, and passing out Promotional Products.
The Arts & Crafts exhibit will have one-of-a-kind handmade items and other unique merchandise for sale from Southern California crafters and merchants. The U.S. Navy, Marines and Army will be bringing vehicles and displaying information. Other exhibitors will be Pet Project Foundation, Anaheim Ducks, O.C. Sheriff’s Department Drug Education and San Diego Gas and Electric.
Children will have their own Children’s Zone with contests, balloon art, jump houses and face painters. Local nonprofits will be selling food.
