San Clemente will be celebrating spring with three festivals – Garden Fest, Earth Day and Cinco de Mayo – within the next few weeks.
Garden Fest 2018 will be an opportunity to buy spring plants and view local environmental education programs such as Water Smart, Butterfly Habitat and the School Garden. There will be a painting competition and container design contests. A Garden Flea Market will have just what gardeners are looking for.
San Clemente Watershed Task Force will be sponsoring Earth Day San Clemente. The morning will begin with a beach cleanup followed by a free community festival. The festival will have artists selling their work, demonstrations, educational displays, live music, and a kids’ arts and crafts area.
Cinco de Mayo will celebrate Spanish food, culture, and entertainment including a petting zoo, games, crafts, and train rides. Mariachi Los Patrillos, Los Fabulocos, Grupo Dilema, the Chinelos Dancers, and the Ballet Folklorico Grupo Nueva Amanecer will be the entertainment. Fans of these artists will probably want to see if they have any Promotional Products with them.
Garden Fest will be Saturday, April 14 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at the San Clemente Community Center, 100 N Calle Seville.
Earth Day San Clemente will be April 21 from 10 am until 2 pm at Parque Del Mar, 622 Avenida Del Mar.
Cinco de Mayo will be May 5 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Max Berg Plaza Park, 1100 Calle Puente.
