The 2020 San Clemente Shine Festival will be held in early February. It has been created to help build a better community and celebrate families.
The ‘80s Fun Run, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, will set the tone for the day. This will be a family-friendly two- mile jaunt through beautiful San Clemente hills. If necessary, handy shortcuts are built into the course. The $40 registration fee includes a festival t-shirt sporting the event’s graphic design and wristband to get into the festival afterward.
The festival will open at 11:00 am. Business and non-profits, vendors, bounce houses, games, and food trucks will remain open until 4:00 pm. Some local vendors will be selling nutritious food. Some nonprofit organizations may be getting a little flyer printing done to pass out information regarding their missions and services.
Local bands will perform from the time the festival opens until 3:30 pm. Flashback Heart Attacks will be headlining from 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm. Adult tickets to the festival will be $15; kid (4-12) tickets run $10; and family four packs will be $40. Kids under four years old can get in free.
Proceeds from the festival will go to the San Clemente Educational Fund. San Clemente Shine Festival will take place in Vista Hermosa Sports Park, 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa on February 8.
