The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce will host its 32nd Annual San Clemente Seafest coming to the San Clemente Pier, 611 Avenida Victoria, next weekend.
Local and regional art and crafters will be selling original works. Many will no doubt have Business Cards available for any passersby that may wish to contact them at a later date. There will be a Business Expo of members of the SC Chamber of Commerce. Guests may want to check these booths to see if any are passing out free Promotional Products.
The Street Taco Challenge contestants will be setting up their equipment in the Cooking area starting at 6:30 am. By 9:30 am, the public will begin tasting the entries and at 10:45, contestants will take their tacos to the judges. People’s Choice voting ends at 1:30 pm and the winners will be announced at 2:30 pm.
Fresh seafood will also be available from fisherman’s Restaurant and Bar. Other contests will include tortilla tossing, hula hooping, and jumping rope. Children can make beaded necklaces, bracelets and key chains, enjoy balloon art, and watch a demonstration by the United States Coast Guard Search and Rescue.
Catalyst is sponsoring this year’s Surf Classic Competition. The competition will be for girls and boys under 18. Divisions are according to gender and age, and there will be a family category.
San Clemente Seafest will be Sunday, October 6 from 9:30 am until 3:00 pm.
