The holiday season will soon be upon us and the City of San Clemente and the Downtown Business Association will once again be celebrating with its traditional 'Puttin on the Glitz'.
For the 22nd year, residents and friends can stroll through downtown San Clemente and enjoy the festive holiday atmosphere for an evening of shopping, dining, and local entertainment.
To add to this year’s ambiance, Santa will be arriving on a fire truck at 5:00 pm to visit the children, and carolers will be singing throughout the evening. Attendees can nosh on roasted chestnuts, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy other holiday treats that will be for sale by local vendors.
Each vendor will have his or her booth decorated for Christmas. There will be movies shown on the lawn, crafts and games for the children at all nonretail booths, wagon rides, train rides, and Cinderella’s Carriage
Photos can be taken with Santa and could be used for this year’s Holiday Cards. Local nonprofit groups may want to arrange a little banner printing and man a booth at the event, especially since there is no vendor fee for them.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, starting at 5:00 pm. People will want to take advantage of the free parking at the San Clemente High School and the shuttle rides that will be available from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards
