To commemorate America’s independence, San Clemente will hold its annual Fourth of July fireworks show next month.
Like in previous years, the fireworks will take place at the city’s Municipal Pier. To prepare for the event, the pier will be closed during the holiday. The Fisherman’s Restaurant will remain open for anyone looking for a meal before the show. These types of events often utilize flyer printing to help promote themselves to locals.
Residents can also expect a flyover from the Condor Squadron, a group of World War II aircrafts. The squadron will fly over several Orange County locations, with San Clemente being its final stop. The planes will pass by San Clemente between 5:55 PM and 6:00 PM, so residents should keep an eye on them around this time.
Once the fireworks start, watchers can gather at the pier or the nearby beach. Organizers recommend taking San Clemente’s trolley, seeing as there will be large crowds and parking will be limited. The trolley is open between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Organizers also ask that attendees remove any trash after the fireworks end.
The fireworks will run from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and the municipal pier is located at 622 Avenida Del Mar. After the fireworks, the pier will be closed for the rest of the night.
