Everyone here in town will be turning out on San Clemente Pier for our annual Independence Day fireworks display over the ocean. Many will start the festivities by attending the San Clemente Ocean Festival Dinner.
Fireworks and Stage FX America will be producing the free fireworks again this year. The City of San Clemente will be sponsoring the show and is spending over $38,500 for the event.
The San Clemente Ocean Festival Fundraising Dinner On The Pier is one of the major fundraising events for the festival which will be coming in mid-July. The dinner will be served at the Fisherman’s Restaurant on the pier on the 4th of July right before the fireworks. Seating will give diners a perfect view.
The fireworks show will begin at 9:00 pm at San Clemente Pier, 611 Avenida Victoria, San Clemente. It will end around 10:00.
Reservations for the dinner can be made from now to the event July 4th at Fisherman’s Restaurant.
Banners around town are touting The Ocean Festival, which is the city’s largest water event of the year. It will be from 7/15 until 7/21 on the San Clemente Pier. Some of the activities will include body surfing and fish clinics, arts and crafts vendors, and carnival games. It will also have dory boat races, a one-mile swim and a 5K beach run.
