San Clemente golfers will want to work on their swings and sharpen their putting skills for the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Classic.
Entrance fees include the green fee, range balls, tee bag, cart, refreshments, lunch, and dinner. This is a prime business networking opportunity, so entrants should not forget to bring their digital Business Cards.
The shotgun start will begin the morning and enable all foursomes to begin playing at the same time, each foursome at one of the course’s 27 championship holes. The play format will be a ‘Foursome Scramble’, so registering a whole team at one time may be preferable.
The ‘Yellow Ball’ scoring format will require one player of each foursome to use a distinctively marked ball. Contests during the event will include putting, longest drive, straightest drive, and closest to the pin. Someone may be the winner of the $5,000 hole-in-one prize.
Guests can also win the raffle and other prizes, and the event includes a business exposition. Members of the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce will be displaying their businesses and distributing marketing material at locations around the course.
