Early in March, San Clemente residents will be treated to a week of fine dining at participating local restaurants during Orange County Restaurant Week.
The OC Restaurant Week kick-off event will be the 9th annual ‘First Bites’, which offers a chance for local food connoisseurs and gourmands to get a taste of what this year’s participating restaurants will be serving. Cocktails will be provided by 28 local eateries. The list includes 320 Main, Angelina’s Pizzeria, Moulin, the Fig and Olive, Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar, Social Cosa Mesa, Sushi Roku, the Ritz Prime Seafood, and Urbana.
Beverages will be provided by 10 companies. Participants will include Chambord Cocktail & Dessert Bar, Kean Coffee Pour-over Coffee Bar, Hawaiian Springs Water Bar, and Melissa’s Fresh Produce Bar. Paul Hobbs Winery, Villa San Juliette Vineyard & Winery, Gamble Family Vineyards, and Celebrity Cruise will provide wine bars. Each bar may distribute custom Drinkware.
Mark Sovel, a DJ from 95.5 KLOS, will be hosting ‘The Fork Report’ live on the Center Stage.
Proceeds from the evening will go to Golden Rule Charity, a local organization that gives out grants and raises funds for locals who are faced with unanticipated crises.
First Bites will be at the Irvine Marriott, 18000 Karman Avenue, Irvine on Saturday, March 4 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Guests are asked to ‘dress to impress’.
