For a unique Valentine’s Day in San Clemente, anyone who enjoys a challenging interactive adventure will want to attend the upcoming Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt.
As part of a team, would-be detectives will follow clues that lead throughout the downtown area. This will be a tour and an opportunity to get outdoors, exercise, and enjoy the beach atmosphere.
The competition is limited to eight teams and will start at eight different locations. Teams will be composed of members who know each other—printing companies and other corporate teams are invited to attend.
Teams can be comprised of up to six members, but four or five is recommended. Each team gets a list of suspects and a packet of twisted riddles, tricky clues, and complicated puzzles. Locations along the way will give more clues to the next location and ultimately to reveal the guilty party.
The team requiring the least help from control center wins, and the event will last about four hours. Event organizers suggest allowing a little more time to include registration at the start and socializing at the finish. It is also recommended that participants bring sunscreen, snacks, water, and comfortable shoes.
This event is scheduled for February 14, starting at 11:00 am. Starting locations will be determined when packets are received. Teams composed of double dates can receive special discounts.
