The second annual Alz That Jazz will come to San Clemente next month. The event will help the Alzheimer’s Association raise money to combat the disease.
One of the leading non-profit organizations that supports Alzheimer’s research, the Alzheimer’s Association’s goal is to accelerate the rate of research so that patients can receive earlier detection and better care.
To bring attention to the cause, Alz That Jazz will feature jazz performances where all the proceeds will go towards the non-profit. The concert will showcase a variety of styles, including scat and standards. Some performers expected to be involved include Liz Booth, Elena Gilliam, Meloney Collins, and Crystal Lewis.
Guests can also enjoy a night of food and drinks while at the event. Several catering services will be at Alz That Jazz to provide a wide selection of dishes and desserts. There will also be a silent auction where guests can take a shot at winning prizes. For events like these, a full list of auctioned items is often provided to guests, with the help of printing services.
Alz That Jazz will take place on November 20 between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. It will happen at the Casino San Clemente located at 140 West Avenida Pico. Tickets to the event are $75, and guests have the option to leave an additional donation.
