Fifth annual Green Fair a hit

The annual Green Fair in Oceanside, located approximately 21.5 miles up the coast from San Clemente, had a large turnout again this year when it made its annual appearance at the end of last month.

The Green Fair took place April 28 at the Junior Seau Beach Amphitheater in Oceanside. Last year’s fair brought in about 1,500 visitors, and city officials and organizers of the Green Fair expected an even larger turnout at this year’s event as a result of more organizations and local businesses that had registered to take part in the day’s activities.

Colleen Foster, who is the recycling and waste management analyst for the city and was also a coordinator of the activity, said that the Green Fair was also promoted as an event for North County instead of simply an Oceanside event, as it had been advertised in the past.

Activities and events within a community or county may be advertised or promoted with printing services provided by local Print companies. Flyer printing is typically used as a method of advertising for activities such as the annual Green Fair. Other Forms of promotion for community and county events may take the form of banner printing or flyer printing.

This year’s Green Fair featured over 50 vendors offering resale products and eco-friendly items for sale. Local nonprofit organizations, probably armed with digital Business Cards, were also on hand to offer information to those in attendance about a variety of informational issues.
