All San Clemente pet owners, and those who just love animals, will want to attend the upcoming 14th Annual Tail of Two Cities Gala fundraiser.
This year’s theme will be ‘Sentimental Journey’. The Pet Project Foundation will be reminiscing about the more than 30 years it has been rescuing animals, and recognizing those that have made it all possible.
The evening will feature a dinner, wine, music, and both silent and live auctions. In the past, bidders have especially enjoyed the wine auction. All proceeds for the evening will be used here in San Clemente and in Dana Point to rescue and house abandoned and lost animals.
The Pet Project Foundation also funds the medical treatment and care for those animals in the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter, food and treats, dog trainer, and kennel attendant salaries, and helps the community’s spay/neuter program. Furthermore, it provides some of the funding for ‘A Rescue Mission’, a program that saves animals from kill shelters and puts them up for adoption. Concerned pet owners may want to have some flyer printing done to advertise this event.
The gala will be held at the Casino San Clemente, 140 Avenida Pico, San Clemente this Sunday, October 4, beginning at 5:00 pm and running until 9:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at the foundation’s website.
