The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce is once again ‘Puttin On The Glitz’ for the 21st year, with the Downtown Business Association and the City of San Clemente. This event is targeted to children of 12 years or younger, but everyone will want to get in on the fun.
Families can enjoy Christmas movies outdoors on the lawn and Santa will arrive on a fire truck at around 5:00 pm. Visitors will be able to view decorative window displays at local businesses that will be participating in the Window Decorating Contest. Food vendors will be offering holiday goodies and beverages, such as roasted chestnuts and hot cocoa. Live music will add to the Christmas ambiance, some of which will be provided by strolling holiday carolers.
Children can have their faces painted and receive balloon animals. They can also go on hayrides, train rides, or Cinderella’s Carriage ride, and even jump in the bounce house. The evening would not be complete without a visit and photo with Santa. Any photos taken during this event can be taken to local printing services for poster printing or postcard printing. Shops will stay open during the evening so holiday shoppers can get a start on their Christmas presents lists.
The event will be held in downtown San Clemente at N. Ola Vista and Avenida del Mar streets tomorrow, November 29, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
