Circus to swing through San Clemente this spring
The Outlets at San Clemente will get a taste of the performing arts when Circus Vargas comes to town this spring.
For this year’s production, Circus Vargas has chosen a theme of Tinseltown for its all-new show. The “Hollywood Dreams!” experience combines red carpet glamour with loving homages to the Golden Age of moviemaking. It features professional performers pulling off stunts, aerial maneuvers, and comedy routines.
The featured performers and stunts include Ring Master Jonathan Lee Iverson, the high wire act Meza Troupe, the unicyclist group The Faltynys, Liina the aerialist, the hand-balancing pair known as the Arata Duo, the foot juggler Jessica Lester, teeterboard group the Cretus Brothers, the clown group Steve & Jones Caveagna Family, and the Marinelli Brothers performing their Wheel of Death act.
Many of the performances at Circus Vargas involve seemingly death-defying acts. The Globe of Death stunt is an attraction involving multiple people on motorized bikes — sometimes riding upside-down and across the walls — in a metal spherical cage. Another example is the archery performance involving Martii using a crossbow to shoot at a rose held by Liina, breaking the flower in half.
Circus events like these may choose to use flyer printing for promoting acrobatic performers, musical acts, and other events.
