Detail King is holding a workshop on developing a business around car detailing next month in San Clemente.
The workshop will take place over two days, and the first day will provide information on how to start a car detailing business. Students will learn about important marketing tactics, how to effectively utilize social media, and ways to acquire dealership and commercial accounts.
To help entrants process the information more easily, instructors will condense the information into a take-home package. These materials are usually produced with the help of printing services, and they allow students to work through the information in their own time.
The second day will be more hands-on, and students will learn how to thoroughly clean a car. Instructors will divide the class into two groups, and each group will be given a vehicle to detail. Students will learn how to clean both the inside and the exterior of the car. Once they have completed the training, instructors will conduct a quick inspection and then wrap up the course. Participants will be awarded certificates for completing the workshop.
The workshop will take place on March 6th and 7th between 8:30am and 5:00pm. Registration for the event is $695, which also includes a continental breakfast and catered lunch on both days. Detail King will hold the workshop at its training center at 920 Calle Negocio.
