Irish folk band to rock Rohnert Park

Rohnert Park’s Green Music Center is welcoming a concert by the Irish folk band Cherish The Ladies this December.

The globe-trotting ensemble has made a name for themselves with their multi-instrumental prowess, with everything from traditional Celtic drums and wind instruments to acoustic guitars, creating high-tempo music and featuring concerts that have live step-dancing incorporated into the show.

The band will bring their signature blend of dynamic vocals and rhythmic songs to the world of Christmas music with unique takes on everything from “Silent Night” to “Angels We Have Heard on High” to “The First Noel.”

The classic carols are reimagined in the tradition of Celtic arrangements, musical structures and tone colors. Audiences are encouraged to sing along to the holiday songs that so often define the season.

The concert is taking place at the Green Music Center’s Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall. A staple of the venue since it opened in 2012, the theatre was designed to imitate the acoustic enhancement of the concert halls of Vienna. It has since become the main focal point of the Green Center.

Irish folk music concerts like this may choose to use Print shops to create tickets, promotional Flyers and banner marquees.

Cherish The Ladies - A Celtic Christmas is happening on Dec. 4 at 7:30 pm at the Weill Hall of the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University at 1801 E Cotati Ave in Rohnert Park.
