Country hit-maker coming to Rohnert Park

Rohnert Park’s Green Music Center is hosting a performance by country star Jake Owen this August.

The concert will also feature a performance by singer-songwriter duo Thelma & James.

Hailing from Florida, Owen has released nine albums so far and is involved in other entertainment and philanthropic activities. He has had 10 No. 1 hit songs, with Platinum and Gold records to his name.

Tracks like “Hot Truck Beer,” “Beachin,” and “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” are just some of Owen’s most well-known hits. While those songs have a more modern style, his latest album, “Dreams to Dream,” is more of a classic country affair.

Joining Owen is Thelma & James, who are a married couple that also front their own country band. Made up of musical partners MacKenzie Porter and Jake Etheridge, Thelma & James has produced a Gold-selling record in Canada and praise from singer-songwriter John Mayer and others.

Beyond country music, Owen is the founder of The Jake Owen Foundation, which is a charitable organization that helps with monetary support of children battling cancer and other diseases.

Concerts like this may choose to use flyer printing to create Signs for venues, merch tables and promotion.

Jake Owen, with special guests Thelma and James, is performing on August 2 at 7 pm at the Weill Hall + Lawn at the Green Music Center at 1801 E Coati Ave in Rohnert Park.
