A festive wreath hung on the door can provide a cheery welcome to guests. Neve Farm’s Alex and Anthony Neve will be leading a Rohnert Park area class that will teach those who participate how they can create their very own customized holiday decor.
The students in the workshop will be transforming native foliage – as well as eucalyptus, bay leaves, berries and other foraged materials – into a wreath that they can use to decorate their own home or gift to someone else. The instruction will be hands on, and the registration fee includes the fresh materials, as well as a wire form that will be used as the base for the piece.
The class will be held in the Washoe House in Petaluma, which will provide a cozy and welcoming environment for the crafters so they can relax and enjoy themselves while they work. Helpers will be on hand to provide any additional assistance if needed. An event like this can offer a welcome respite from the rush of the holiday season, and materials from a flyer printing company can help to get the word out to the public that it will be taking place.
The Washoe House, which can be found at 2840 Roblar Road, will be hosting this creative evening on December 5. Everyone interested is welcome to register.
