Rohnert Park residents who want to learn more about affordable housing options are invited to an event being held at the Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library this September.
The Housing and Resource Fair will feature not only educational opportunities, but local food vendors, workshops, information about services for the community, and other activities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to get their questions answered surrounding the topic of affordable housing, as well as sign up for a housing waitlist, with affordable housing providers on site to provide people with resources.
There will also be a first-time homebuyer workshop held in the second half of the four-hour event presented by people who specialize in lending, low-cost homeownership, and programs for first-time homebuyers. Food trucks, children’s activities, and Spanish translations of resources will all be part of the fair.
With affordable housing being difficult to find for many, according to the City of Rohnert Park’s website, the city offers information about what affordable housing is available, including through affordable homeownership programs, down payment assistance, and housing rehabilitation loan programs.
Resource fairs like this may choose to use Promotional Products for vendors to use as free giveaway items for raffles or brand promotion.
The Affordable Housing and Resource Fair is happening on Saturday, September 13 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library at 6250 Lynne Conde Way in Rohnert Park.
