Upcoming event provides resources for small business owners

The Tri-Valley Small Business Commerce Convention will be taking place next month. It is a presentation of local Chambers of Commerce in the five cities of Pleasanton, Danville, Livermore, Dublin, and San Ramon.

The day will start off with a continental breakfast and networking opportunity. It will be followed by several breakaway sessions on topics such as revenue generation, writing a business plan, finding capital and financing tools, and social media marketing. Guests can also preregister to receive one-on-one consulting sessions with industry professionals. There will be several networking breaks during the day.

Another important aspect of the conventions will be the exhibit hall. It is set to feature representatives from many nonprofit and government resources organizations that help small business owners. They will likely be available to answer any questions attendees may have.

No doubt most of those attending will be investing in a new order of premium Business Cards to ensure they have a way of keeping in touch with those they meet from the various communities, such as Pleasanton. They will also want to ensure their contact information is still current.

The Tri-Valley Small Business Commerce Convention will be held at Shannon Community Center in Dublin on October 4 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, contact the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce at 925-846-5858 x203.
