Pleasanton Chamber to host city update

The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual State of the City Luncheon this March.

The event will feature a speech from Pleasanton mayor Jack Balch, as well as a sit-down lunch and time for networking. Chamber of commerce members often exchange Business Cards during networking events. Balach will discuss his vision for the city in the coming year, along with updates on current priorities and progress in ongoing projects.

The Chamber will also recognize its Circle of Influence members during the event. These are people who have provided ongoing support that facilitates the Chamber’s growth and success, and are able to make a one-time payment for recognition at Chamber events throughout the year.

Luncheon tickets are available on the Chamber’s website now. The cost is $85 per person through February 28, and this will increase to $95 on March 1. Those attending the lunch need to sign up by March 5. A vegetarian meal option is available.

The mayor’s speech is open to the public, and Pleasanton residents are welcome to attend this portion of the event without paying for lunch. The talk will also be recorded and posted online.

The Pleasanton State of the City Luncheon will be on Thursday, March 19, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery. The event is expected to sell out.
