Pleasanton region to launch arts and culture festival

The inaugural Tri-Valley Twist is taking place in Pleasanton and surrounding towns this June.

The Tri-Valley Twist is a three-day collection of culinary, art, music, and cultural events. The long weekend will kick off with an outdoor concert at Lions Wayside Park in Pleasanton. There will be two food-centered events in Pleasanton on Saturday. The Taste of Greece Festival will feature traditional Greek food, pastries, beer and wine, along with music and dancing. Meanwhile, the Longest Table is a community picnic taking place on Main Street. Attendees should bring their own dishes, food, and beverages.

The full list of events is provided on the Visit Tri-Valley website. Those planning to attend any of the performances, festivals or other events can check the list for event details and ticket prices and sign up for email updates. Some events are free, but many require tickets or an admission fee. Organizers often use poster printing services to promote this type of large community event.

Anyone traveling for the event can make reservations at AC Hotels Marriott Pleasanton, which is the official hotel partner for the weekend. Sponsorship packages ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 are also available. Businesses can also inquire about in-kind sponsorship opportunities.

The inaugural Tri-Valley Twist will run from Friday, June 5, to Sunday, June 7 in various locations across the region.
