Pleasanton North Rotary is hosting its annual fundraising gala this spring.
The gala theme is A Starry Night, and the evening will start with a cocktail hour. Passed hors d’oeuvres are included, and drinks will be available for purchase from the no-host bar. There will be three main dish options for the sit-down dinner, which are Atlantic salmon, short ribs, and a vegetarian option. After dinner, there will be an auction, games, and dancing.
Tickets are available on Pleasanton North Rotary’s website now for $175 per person. Attendees can list their seating preferences when purchasing tickets. Sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $2,500 are available. Sponsor benefits include event tickets and recognition on the website and event program. Organizers often work with Stationery printers to create programs for their special events.
Proceeds from the gala will support Pleasanton North Rotary’s work. The group has raised more than $2m for local and international nonprofits since it was founded nearly 40 years ago. It also runs local programs, including Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which collects and assembles beds and bedding for kids in need, and Night to Shine, a prom night event for teens and adults with special needs.
A Starry Night will take place on Friday, April 17, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at The Club at Castlewood in Pleasanton.
