The NorCal Barber Expo is taking place in Pleasanton this summer.
The expo is open to students, working professional barbers, and brands interested in promoting their products. Vendors often give out Promotional Products to booth visitors at this type of industry convention. Taking place at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, the day will begin with continuing education sessions from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a series of competitions from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Competitions will have student, professional, and team categories. Barbers can show off their fade, taper, or braiding skills or enter the freestyle design battle. Online voting for the best barbershop of the year is open now. Anyone interested can cast one vote per day for their favorite shop.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite now. Including fees, general admission is $32.78. This allows attendees to watch competitions and access the vendor hall. The morning educational session is $28.52. Those planning to enter a competition need to purchase the appropriate package. These include contest entry and general admission for the competitor and a model. Parking is $15, which can be paid in advance on the fairgrounds’ website. A group rate is available at the AC Hotels Marriott Pleasanton for those traveling to the expo.
