Pleasanton museum to host ghost tours
Museum on Main in Pleasanton is bringing back its annual Ghost Walk this fall.
The museum is running ghost tours on four evenings in October. Tours leave from Museum on Main and visit nine downtown locations that are said to be haunted. At each stop, actors will present the stories the tour guides are telling. The actors are from the City of Pleasanton’s Creatures of Impulse Improv Club.
The tours are family-friendly, and the museum’s Director of Education hopes that they will be a fun way for people to learn about Pleasanton’s history while enjoying the Halloween season. Most of the stops are outside, but some are indoors, and two require using the stairs to get to the show.
Tickets are available on the museum’s website. The cost is $25 per adult and $20 per child 12 or younger. The tours will take place rain or shine, so attendees should dress for the weather. Participants are also welcome to wear costumes. The ghost walks often sell out, so the organizers encourage those interested in attending to buy tickets early. Local museums often use flyer printing services to promote their seasonal events.
The Ghost Walk tours will take place on Friday, October 10, Saturday, October 11, Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 and leave from Museum on Main every 30 minutes from 6 pm to 8 pm.
