Pleasanton will have a notary seminar

The Notary Learning Center will offer a seminar for anyone looking to become a notary or renew their certificate. The seminar will take place early next month.

The event will give entrants a chance to learn the basics of being a notary. Participants will receive a study guide and California Notary Public Handbook to be used during the seminar. After the seminar is over, entrants can take an exam for a chance to be officially recognized as a notary by California. Anyone who passes the exam will also receive a certificate for their efforts.

To register for the seminar and exam, entrants will need to bring an official application and some form of identification, like a driver’s license or passport. Applications can be downloaded from this event’s website.

Registering for the seminar will also give entrants a chance to purchase discounted notary supplies. Some items for purchase include printers, reference material, stamps, documents with Letterheads, and membership with NotaryRotary.

The seminar will start at 8:00 AM on June 2 and will last six hours. The exam will take place immediately afterward. The registration fee for both the seminar and the exam is $40. Anyone who is taking the exam after failing it before can pay $20. The venue for the seminar is located at 11950 Dublin Canyon Road in Pleasanton.
