The annual Alameda County Fair will return to Pleasanton this June.
The fair runs for more than three weeks in June and July and includes a large range of entertainment activities. Attendees can watch live horse racing, ride carnival rides, shop at vendor tables, and go to concerts. Other activities will include cooking and art competitions, livestock shows, fireworks displays, movie screenings, wine and beer tastings, and an antique tractor display.
Attendees need to purchase their tickets in advance online. There will not be a ticket booth or will call area at the fair. Both single-day tickets and season passes that include cover admission to every day of the fair are available. Single tickets cost $15 per person if purchased in advance. Parking payments will be contactless, and attendees can pay for their parking ahead of time. Parking costs $13 per day if paid in advance. Most vendors will only take card payments, so kiosks to exchange cash for prepaid cards will be available.

The Alameda County Fair will run from Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to 11:00 pm from June 16 to July 9. The exception is July 4, when the hours are shortened to noon through 8:00 pm.
