Pleasanton housing organization to host anniversary fundraiser

Goodness Village in Pleasanton is presenting a fundraiser and anniversary celebration this June.

The evening will start with a silent auction and a no-host bar, followed by dinner provided by On the Vine Catering. Braised short ribs will be served family-style. After dinner, several entertainment and fundraising activities are scheduled. These include a live auction, games, and a talk from Goodness Village’s executive director, Kim Curtis.

All funds raised during the event will support Goodness Village, which provides affordable tiny homes for unhoused people in the Tri-Valley region, helping them heal from their previous challenges while living independently in a safe setting. Goodness Village has provided access to 28 homes so far. In addition to stable housing, residents become part of a community with their new neighbors, and receive access to healthcare providers and other resources to help them move forward.

Tickets are available on Goodness Village’s website now. The cost is $125 per person or $250 per couple. Couples’ tickets will come with a shared bidder number. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available at the time of writing. Sponsors often give out Promotional Products at this type of event. Businesses interested in becoming sponsors should contact Goodness Village directly.

Celebrating Goodness: Three Years of Fresh Starts will take place on Saturday, June 15 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Pleasanton Senior Center.
