Pleasanton county fair to include fireworks display

Pleasanton residents can enjoy a Fireworks Spectacular show at the Alameda County Fair this 4th of July weekend.

The fireworks show is free with admission to the fair. It will begin at 9:30 pm after the evening’s concert. Fireworks should be visible from anywhere on the fairgrounds, but the best view will be over the Stella Artois Grandstand. Those interested in the nightly drone light show will find the best view near the racetrack. Friday, July 1st’s concert will be a performance by New York rapper Everlast.

The Alameda County Fair includes many activities and attractions over nearly three weeks. Visitors can watch horse races, concerts and movies. The fair includes carnival rides, a fun run, a petting zoo, wine and beer festivals, and a large selection of food and shopping vendors. Vendors at this type of event often offer free Promotional Products to advertise their businesses. The fair will use a contactless payment system, so attendees should plan to pay for tickets and other purchases by card or payment app. Tickets cost $18 for adult general admission, and parking is $15 per day. Both should be purchased on the event’s website in advance. Concert tickets need to be purchased separately, but they include fair admission.

The Fireworks Spectacular will take place on Friday, July 1, starting at 9:30 pm.
