Pleasanton car club to host annual reunion

The Nor-Cal Novas is hosting its 10th Annual Family Reunion Car Show in Pleasanton this August.

The two-day event will start with a BBQ and potluck dinner on Friday evening. Saturday’s activities will include a swap meet, a Nova cruise, a live auction and raffles. The day will conclude with a pizza dinner and the presentation of awards. Church Boys Racing is sponsoring the event. Groups often use poster printing services to recognize their event sponsors.

The Nor-Cal Novas group is a car club focused exclusively on Chevrolet Novas, which were built between 1961 and 1988 and remain popular with collectors. In addition to being Nova owners, the club’s members are dedicated to having a positive impact on their community. Those interested in entering a car can find the registration form on Nor-Cal Novas’ website. The cost is $40 per car, and everyone who registers before August 1 will receive a free t-shirt.

Proceeds from the car show will be donated to Make-a-Wish. Attendees who are staying overnight can receive a discounted rate at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pleasanton at the Club. To get the group rate, they should call the hotel at 925-463-8000 and request the Nor-Cal Nova Family Reunion Car Show price.

The car show will take place on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31 at the Doubletree in Pleasanton.
