The Pleasanton Art League (PAL) members show will open next month.
Members of the art league are invited to submit up to two pieces in any medium. Both two and three-dimensional works of art are welcome and can include jewelry, paintings, sculptures and anything else that fits the theme. The show’s theme is Imagination Expressed 2024, and the submissions will be displayed at the Museum on Main for 60 days. Jeff Dunn will judge the work submitted, and participants can win up to $700 in prizes.
Those planning to enter the show need to register by March 5, but they are encouraged to sign up as early as possible. Later entries may not be included in the show if there are too many pieces for the museum space. Finished artworks need to be delivered to the museum on March 12 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
The group is hosting a reception on Saturday, March 16 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Members and the public are invited to see the show. Museum on Main is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission is free. Art shows often use printing services to provide information about the different pieces on display.
The PAL members show will be on display from March 13 to May 11 at Museum on Main in downtown Pleasanton.
