Hospice nonprofit to host crab feed

Hope Hospice is hosting its third annual Crab Feed fundraiser this winter.

The event will start with an hour of social time. There will be a cash bar, and attendees can purchase raffle tickets. Local businesses often include Promotional Products in raffle prize baskets. Dinner will start at 6:00 pm, and a live auction of dessert options will begin at 7:15 pm.

Tickets are available now. The cost is $90 per person or $900 for a table for ten. All attendees need to be 21 or older. Seating will be assigned, so groups should either purchase tickets together in one transaction or call the organizers at 925-829-8770. Crab will be served with a salad, bread and a side of pasta. Attendees can opt for chicken or eggplant Parmesan instead of crab. They can also purchase single drink tickets for $10 or bottles of wine from the local Wente Vineyards for $35.

Proceeds from the crab feed will support Hope Hospice, a nonprofit end-of-life care provider that works across the Tri-Valley area, including Pleasanton and other neighboring towns. The organization's mission is to provide in-home services that prioritize compassion and the patient’s individual needs.

The Hope Hospice Crab Feed will take place on Saturday, February 15 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Shannon Center in Dublin.
