The Pleasanton Downtown Association is hosting Forkful, a food tasting event, this September.
The event will begin with a champagne reception, which will be held behind the Museum on Main. Then, attendees can visit 12 participating restaurants in downtown Pleasanton to try a bite of the restaurant’s best dish. Some samples will come with a drink pairing, but this will vary by restaurant. Attendees should be aware that the servings will be a single bite, not a full portion. After visiting all 12 restaurants, participants can vote for their favorite sample. The restaurant with the most votes will receive a golden fork and be declared Forkful’s 2023 Best Bite.
Those planning to attend should purchase tickets online. The cost is $55 per person plus Eventbrite fees. This covers all 12 bites, drink pairings where offered, and a commemorative fork to use during the afternoon. Event organizers often offer Promotional Products that can be used both during and after the event.
Main Street will be closed during the tasting event so participants can walk from restaurant to restaurant more easily. At the opening reception, participants will receive a program that lists the participating restaurants and the bite offered by each one.
Forkful will take place on Saturday, September 16, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in downtown Pleasanton.
