Firehouse Arts Center plans winter shows for 2018

The Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton has performances of comedy, poetry, film, music, and theater coming up in the New Year.

The Fleetwood Mask will perform on January 13 at 8:00 pm, and January 14 at 2:00 pm, playing some much loved Fleetwood Mac numbers.

On Friday, January 19, at 8:00 pm. The Special Consensus will perform. This is a Grammy nominated bluegrass band with four men playing acoustical instruments and performing vocals.

Noises Off, a theater production, plays from January 27 to February 11. It is comedy that has a zany cast of characters rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. The production has intrigue, comedy, and surprises.

On January 27, at 8:00 pm. Tamriko Siprashvili & Ian Rowe will perform a classical concert. They have performed in the U.S., Europe, and South America.

The California Feetwarmers will perform on February 16 at 8:00 p.m. The band is made up of masters of ragtime, Dixieland blues, and early swing.

Lastly, We Banjo 3 performs on Feb 17 at 8:00 pm and February 18 at 2:00 pm. They are distinguished musicians from Ireland who play the banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, percussion, and perform vocals.

The venue has a 221-seat theater, fine arts gallery, and classroom space. Pleasanton has printing companies that can help art groups, theaters, associations, businesses, clubs, corporations, and nonprofit organizations with graphic design of printed materials.
