The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the other members of the Tri-Valley Chamber of Commerce Alliance (TVCCA) and the Tri-Valley Career Center to host its third annual job fair this fall.
The job fair is one of the TVCCA’s largest events, and it has drawn more than 200 jobseekers in past years. The organizers have space for 65 employer tables, and they expect to sell out. A list of participating employers is available on the Tri-Valley Career Center’s website. These employers represent a wide range of industries and include local governments, school districts, retail stores and scientific research groups.
Employers interested in participating can register online. The $250 fee covers a table, two chairs and marketing in advance of the job fair. Representatives at job fair tables often use brochure printing services to provide information about their companies.
Job seekers can attend the fair for free, and they are encouraged to register in advance on the Tri-Valley Career Center’s website. The Career Center offers resources for job seekers and recruiting support for employers, especially small businesses. It is offering a résumé-writing workshop on Tuesday, September 26 specifically designed for those attending the job fair.
The fall job fair will take place on Thursday, October 5 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Tri-Valley Career Center in Pleasanton.
