The 54th annual Community Service Awards reception is taking place at the end of this month. It is a presentation of Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of the most important networking events of the Pleasanton business community. It is very likely that most of those planning to attend will be bringing along their digital Business Cards to exchange with their peers; many of them will also have to place a new business card printing order in advance to ensure they have enough.
Guests will enjoy appetizers, beer and wine and will have the chance to bid on several items in the silent auction. There will be plenty of chances to briefly discuss business with others in attendance and to collect Business Cards to help increase referral networks.
The evening will finish off with the presentation of five awards. The awards are Business Philanthropy, Excellence in Business, Excellence in Service, Distinguished Individual Service and Green Business. Finalists were nominated by the general public and Chamber of Commerce members; the final decision was made by Chamber officers.
The Community Service Awards will be held at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton on March 29 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Tickets are $35 each.
