Annual art show returns to Pleasanton

The 2016 DAHLIN Invitational Art Show ‘Shapes-to-Scapes’ will be taking place over two days next month. It is presented by the Dahlin Group.

The exhibition will start off with a reception on December 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and will probably be served refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. They will also be able to view the artworks before the show officially opens on December 3. Those interested in attending the reception must reserve in advance with Dahlin Pleasanton.

The genres of art that will be included in this year’s show include painting, ceramics, beadwork, sculpture, and photography. The artists participating in the exhibition include Kurt Fehlberg (ceramics), Sheila Reid (photography), Geoff Meredith (painting), and Takemi Tsuruta (ceramics). In addition, David Vander Jagt will be holding a ceramic sculpture demonstration on December 3 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

No doubt people from all over Pleasanton who are interested in art and graphic design will want to make time to visit the exhibition. Organizers may invest in flyer printing services to spread the word.

The DAHLIN Invitational Art Show will be held at DAHLIN Pleasanton from December 2 to 3. The show will be open on December 3 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about the exhibition or the reception, call 925-251-7200.
