The 13th Annual Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival will take place in the spring, bringing a large crowd of visitors to Palm Desert.
The colorful desert becomes a vibrant canvas as everyone celebrates the array of beautiful wildflowers. The event is held at Palm Desert’s Civic Center Park, and includes flower viewing, local artists, educational opportunities, conservation partners, a kids’ play zone and recreational activities. Celebrating wellness, the festival highlights the great outdoors and recreational fun. Wildflower hikes will be on the agenda for those interested in exploring the mountains lined with flowers. Live music and raffles are also part of the fun.
A beer and wine garden, along with food vendors, will be onsite along with other exhibitors. Exhibitors often call upon the services of local Print shops to prepare for events of this type. Business card printing provides a tool for presenting contact information for a later use that can possibly bring new revenues to the vendors.
Some of this year’s sponsors include City of Palm Desert, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, Drew Leander, and Chuparosa. Volunteer support is provided by Keith Driscoll Farms and Pups @ Chapel Hill. Sponsorships are available for this event; contact (760) 568-9918.
The wildflower festival will be held March 7. More information is available via the Friends of the Desert Mountains Website.
