USA Today to organize food fest in Palm Desert

USA Today will be holding a food and wine festival in September at Civic Center Park in Palm Desert.

The USA Today Wine & Food Experience is a culinary adventure where people can try dishes made by talented local chefs. Many restaurants will attend the festival, including Anna’s Temptations Granola, the California Fish Grill, and Mica’s Soul Kitchen. There will also be several breweries and wineries at the event, such as the Ketcham Estate Winery, Frey Ranch Distillery, and Rancho la Gloria.

The culinary director of the food and wine festival will be Jared Bobkin. He helps organize food-themed events throughout the country and can be booked for private dining experiences. Bobkin has worked at notable venues such as the Edgewood Country Club and the Birmingham Athletic Club. He also was a competitor on the television show Hell’s Kitchen and was invited to an All-Stars season of the program by Gordan Ramsey.

The food and wine fest will be on September 9 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. General admission will cost $80 per person, which includes unlimited samples, a tasting cup, and access to all demonstrations at the event. People may purchase VIP admission for $115 to get early access to the festival. Discounts are available to those who register early. Festivals like this may use flyer printing to increase the number of people exposed to the events.
