A fresh version of the famous Rodgers & Hammerstein revue, A Grand Night for Singing, is coming to Rancho Mirage, just a few minutes away from Palm Desert.
The original Broadway musical began in 1994 and developed an everlasting flair that earned the creators two Tony nominations, one of which was Best Musical.
Some of the most popular original songs from the Broadway production included in the upcoming performance will be “I’m Gonna Wash that Man Right Out-a My Hair,” “Honeybun,” and “Kansas City.”
Outdoor event organizers often order poster printing from local Print shops. The Posters are used to communicate relevant information about the upcoming event and can be placed strategically throughout an area to enhance attendance, as well as within the venue.
Desert Theatricals is the producer of the scheduled performances and is looking for volunteers, especially for its front-of-house areas, including ticket takers and ushers. Positions for backstage include spot operators and crews for sets. An application to sign up as a volunteer can be found on the Desert Theatricals website.
A Grand Night for Singing will take place outside under the stars at the Rancho Mirage Community Park located at 71560 San Jacinto Dr.. on May 23 beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $45 and may be purchased via the aforementioned event website.
