Palm Desert to hold conference for peace officers

The Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) will organize an event at the JW Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert.

The 72nd Annual Conference of Members is an event where those in the PORAC can browse exhibitors and attend presentations from notable instructors. People can participate in training sessions at the convention on topics like retirement, managing association funds, and how to use social media. Many speakers will attend the conference, like Dr. Tomer Anbar, Sarah Creighton, and Gino Stumpo. Comedian Bobby Henline will provide the entertainment at the event.

Companies can showcase their brands at the PORAC’s conference by becoming sponsors. There are three main sponsorship categories – Blue, Emerald, and Gold. All supporters of the event will have their Logo Design displayed on the PORAC’s website and the entrance sign to the convention. Every sponsor will also be featured in the Law Enforcement News Magazine. Businesses that pay $3,500 or more for their sponsor package will be included in marketing emails for the conference.

The PORAC’s annual event will be held from November 21 to 23. Delegate members of the organization can pay $350 to attend, and retired associate members may purchase tickets for $285. Non-members may also participate in the event and can buy their tickets for $450. Discounts will be given to those who purchase their tickets before November 10.
